The International Society of Minimum Intervention Dentistry (MIS) has the great honor to host on 29th June 2024 the first international official event at The Official College of Dentistry in Madrid, Spain. MIS Congress will explore the principles of Minimally Invasive Dentistry through a series of lectures, providing you with an exceptional opportunity to expand your knowledge, share your expertise, and network with renowned international speakers.

Patricia Gatón Hernández

Dentist with PhD from the
International University of Catalunya

Specialized in pediatric dentistry, implants and aesthetic dentistry. Professor and lecturer in different areas, she is the director of MITDental center in Barcelona, focused on minimum invasive dentistry and dental trauma, and she is member of the European Advisory Board of Minimally Invasive Dentistry.

Sevil Gurgan

Dentist and Professor in Turkey, from the University
of Hacettepe, with more than 35 years of experience

Expert in Restorative Dentistry, she had key roles in the International Association of Dental Research and the University of Hacettepe. With 150 publications, 2 edited books and participation on international congresses, she has been recognized for her contribution to dental materials research and dental bleaching.

Avijit Banerjee

Professor of Cariology & Operative Dentistry
at the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral &
Craniofacial Sciences from King’s College London

Director of the Masters in Advanced Minimum Intervention Dentistry and he leads the Cariology and Operative Dentistry research programme. He had received awards for his dedication to research in cariology and minimum invasive oral health. He plays key roles in clinical research and orientation in the United Kingdom.

Ivana Miletić

Professor at the Faculty of Dental Medicine from the University of Zagreb

Specialized in endodontics and dental pathology. Founder and President of the Croatian Society of Minium Intervention Dentistry from 2016. She has conducted research and international publications in cariology and operative dentistry, with more than 100 articles and four text books.

Salvatore Sauro

Professor of dental biomaterials and
minimum invasive dentistry at
CEU University-Cardenal Herrera

With more than 15 years of experience in research, he has published more than 150 articles and he is past presdident from the IADR Dental Materials Group. He works on different academic roles at institutions such as King’s College London and the Moscow University.

Hervé Tassery

Doctor in biomaterials at the
University Aix Marseille

Professor at the Dental School in Marseill, his areas of interest include cariology, fluorescence devices and minimum invasive dentistry. He leads research at University of Montpellier 1. He is the creator of LIFEDT, an innovative concept in restorative dentistry. With more than 80 publication.

Esther Ruiz de Castañeda

Dentist with PhD from the
University of Granada

Specialized in prosthodontics and aesthetic dentistry. Member of the European Advisory Board of Minimally Invasive Dentistry and the Spanish Society of Prosthodontics, she stands out as lecturer on various dental topics, including aesthetics, minimum intervention and dental traumatology.
